TAKI — Jazzy 3D Old Town Taxi Driver

TAKI is a cozy, laid-back 3D driving experience designed to be simple, engaging, and atmospheric.

Hop into your taxi, cruise around the atmospheric streets of Old Town, search for passengers, and deliver them safely to their destinations while soaking in a smooth, jazzy lo-fi soundtrack.

Gameplay Mechanics

• 🚕 Old Town Taxi Service: Navigate winding streets to pick up clients and drop them off before time runs out.
• 🔧 Cab Maintenance & Economy: Drive carefully! Crashing your taxi will damage it, forcing you to spend hard-earned fares on repairs at the workshop.
• 🎵 Lofi Atmosphere: Relax with a custom jazzy groove soundtrack as you work.
• 🕹️ Intuitive Dual Controls:
  • Desktop: Drive with WASD or Arrow Keys on your keyboard.
  • Mobile/Tablet: Fully optimized double virtual joystick interface (Left Joystick to steer/accelerate, Right Joystick to look around).

Technical Overview

Developed using BabylonJS 6, TAKI is a lightweight 3D web game experiment optimized to run smoothly across both desktop browsers and mobile devices. It showcases real-time physics, dynamic customer pathfinding, and clean low-poly asset rendering.
