Luigi's Pizza House — Cozy 3D Pizzeria Game

Take orders, place every topping by hand and bake each pizza just right in a cozy 3D neighbourhood pizzeria. Built with Babylon.js and Nuxt, playable in your browser and on Windows.

Luigi's Pizza House is a cozy 3D time-management game about running a small neighbourhood pizzeria. Every afternoon Luigi opens the doors: four tables, an oven with two slots and six neighbours with tastes of their own. Take their orders, place each topping on the dough by hand, keep an eye on the oven so nothing burns, then serve and collect the bill.

At closing time, count your coins and tips and decide how to improve the place for tomorrow.

What's on the menu

  • Cook by hand. Every slice of pepperoni, mushroom, basil leaf and olive is a 3D piece you place yourself with a tap or a drag. Correct and undo as you go: nothing fills itself in.
  • 13 recipes. Ten classics, from the Margherita to La Festa (32–50 pieces), plus three half-and-half specials from day 2.
  • Neighbours with a memory. Elena, Bruno, Inés, Mateo, Lola and Nico have their own preferences and curiosity, remember what they ordered recently and never repeat their last order.
  • A two-slot oven. Prepare the next pizza while another one bakes. The bell tells you it's ready; leave it too long and it burns.
  • Illustrated scenes. Short, skippable reactions when a pizza burns, misses the order or makes someone's day, always showing the pizza you actually made.
  • From afternoon to night. The light moves from 13:00 to 21:00 as the day goes by, and at dusk warm lamps glow above every table.
  • Neighbourhood mishaps. From day 2, a service can bring one of fifteen illustrated surprises: a rebellious pipe, a power cut, a tax inspector, a surprise birthday, a critic in disguise… Each one asks you to choose between two options, and almost half of them are good news.
  • Upkeep and upgrades. From day 3 the oven knob may need adjusting. Spend your earnings on a finely tuned oven or a cosier corner.
  • Cozy atmosphere. Original soft jazz, occasional voiced lines with subtitles, clouds drifting behind the pizzeria and Biscotto, the cat who naps by the door.
  • Practice mode. The whole menu, with no customers and no clock.

How a service works

  1. Open the pizzeria. Up to six customers a day share four tables.
  2. Take the order. Tap a table and Luigi walks over to write it down.
  3. Prepare. Pick an ingredient and tap or drag on the dough. Correct removes or moves a piece; Undo reverts your last gesture.
  4. Into the oven. The recipe is checked and the pizza goes into a free slot. Take it out when the bell rings, before it burns.
  5. Serve and collect. Carry the pizza to its table and come back when they ask for the bill.
  6. Close up. Review the day, buy upgrades and open the next one.

Play in the browser or on Windows

Play in your browser (fullscreen recommended) or download the Windows version: a single portable .exe for Windows 10/11 64-bit, no installation needed. The game is available in English, Spanish, French and Italian; it starts in your device's language, and you can change it on the title screen or in Settings.

Mouse or touch work for everything. At the prep table you can also use the keyboard: 1–4 choose an ingredient, arrow keys aim, Space places, Delete removes, Z undoes and Esc opens Settings and pauses. Progress autosaves locally, so you can come back to a half-finished day with its pizzas, oven and bills exactly as you left them. Browser and Windows saves are separate.

Luigi's Pizza House is still in development, so feedback on the itch.io page is very welcome.

Development notes

The game is built with Babylon.js for the 3D pizzeria, Nuxt and Vue for the menus and interface, Blender for the ingredient models and Electron for the Windows build.

Special thanks to Kay Lousberg for the KayKit assets. As disclosed on itch.io, AI tools assisted development and the production of the illustrated scenes, promotional art, music and voices; all of that content is created in advance and included in the game, and nothing is generated while you play.
