BEACON 9 — Low-Poly Sci-Fi Rescue Adventure
Switch on the last station in a dead sector, answer a forgotten distress call and bring fourteen people home. A story-driven sci-fi adventure built with Babylon.js and Nuxt, free in your browser.
BEACON 9 is a low-poly sci-fi rescue adventure. You came to switch off the last station in a dead sector. Then the beacon woke up, and a transport listed as evacuated called for help. Fourteen people are still out there, and nobody is coming for them.
Repair the station, investigate what went wrong, fight the machines still following an old shutdown order and get everyone home.
The mission
- A complete story campaign. A prologue and nine sectors, about 60–90 minutes from first light to the final evacuation.
- A shutdown order nobody cancelled. Drones, crawlers, turrets, mortars and colossus walkers stand in the way. Fly with the jetpack, dodge, fire, trigger your pulse and chain kills up to ×5 for overdrive.
- Drive and fly. Take the wheel of a rover, two cargo trucks and an articulated mobile base, then head into orbit through asteroid fields, interceptor squadrons, boost rings and hyperspace jumps.
- Repair, investigate, rescue. Carry parts, follow physical clues, route power through terminals and keep the survivors alive.
- Upgrade as you go. Salvage from every fight funds five workshop upgrades. Hidden supply caches and per-sector medals reward a second run.
- Arena. An endless survival mode under rising pressure, with a high score to beat.
